Performance: Recording Orff Ensembles

In this recording, the 1st graders perform “Falling Leaves” from Sing and Play on Special Days by Denise Gagne. They successfully play in unison and then in two parts for the very first time. I am so proud of my 1st graders! Please remember that they are age 6 and trying their best.

To record the students, I used my desktop MAC’s GarageBand software and the internal computer mic (my snowball mic was not there on this day). I hope that you enjoy their performances.

In the recording below, these are my first graders now performing the melody and the accompaniment. This was recorded with an iPad and the internal microphone.
