As the NJMEA Preschool-8 General Music Chair, I delved into the Guidebook App to sift through sessions tailored for elementary general music, middle school general music, choral sessions for younger singers (as many of us teach elementary general music and have all of our students sing at concerts), and topics that we might need more information and guidance. I did this because when we present, it can be challenging to check the boxes that best describe the audience for the session. The Thursday highlighted sessions primarily cater to elementary music classes within the Elementary Academy, yet the document covers the entire conference. Although I focused diligently on selecting sessions, I may have overlooked some intended for PS-8 general music. If your session was missed, kindly inform me, and I will update the document.
